"Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia." Acts 16:6
Submission to God's will requires obedience to the Holy Spirit. He trains us to recognize His voice and we learn to go where He directs .
How about you? Do you submit to the Holy Spirit and let Him choose the doors He wants to open for you? When the Holy Spirit blocks the route to where you want to go, how do you react?
When God changes your plans, even when you assumed they were God's will, see it as an amber light. Perhaps God is saying slow down..wait..caution! Make sure your plans will take you where the Holy Spirit wants you to go. When you do, you will know for sure that God has you ready to go to those who call, "Come and help us..."
Get God's map: If you wait, God will teach how to recognize his plan and follow his directions.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I want to do your will, but sometimes it is hard to know what it is. My frustration could be that you are blocking the way. I lay my plans before you and wait to know your plan. When I am in your will, nothing can keep me from doing whatever you ask me to do. Holy Spirit, help me. In Jesus' Name.
