"And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free......Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave to sin.And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed." JOHN 8:32,34-36
To know the Truth is to know Jesus intimately. Jesus, who is the Truth, will teach you how you to live free. As His child, learn to make choices and decisions that are true to the Truth you know.
Many of your slave days, before you knew Jesus, were full of lies. Often you were deceived, in bondage to pride, or fear, envy and jealousy. You had a false a image of yourself and were self-deceived.
Now, as His freed child, you can live a new way; in the Truth. You are not in bondage. You are in a love affair with Jesus, The Truth. You moved in with Him. He took you to His heart.You belong to Him and you live with Truth. You're inseparable.
Know the truth about Jesus and His Word. Get to know the truth about yourself. Be transparent, open to scrutiny, honest to God. It's a great feeling. like being out of debt, unafraid and free. not dodging the truth. Live happily with The Truth.
Know the truth: You are free to live with a clear conscience. Be fully honest. The Spirit of Truth, leads you into all truth. He won't let you lie easily. He searches motives. He prods minds with the Word, the sword of the Spirit. He searches us.
Prayer: Jesus, make me honest, true, through and through. I don't want to lie to myself or to others. Change me where I am devious or unreliable. Let Truth shine in me and be reflected in how honest I am with others and with You, Jesus. Amen
