"His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises...."II PETER 1:3,4
Within every blessing from God is a promise of a better quality of life.
- The blessing of salvation holds the promise of eternal life.
- The blessing of the indwelling Spirit holds the promise of a Spirit-filled life.
- The blessing of divine healing holds the promise of wholeness of life.
His name, His blood, His Word all contain promises of a victorious life.
Every spiritual blessing from God contains the divine nature. God pours into our lives the very life of Jesus. God, the Father, says to us,"Look at the goodness and glory in my Son's life. Now I give it to you. Take hold of it. Let his goodness and glory become your own. Be a partaker of the divine nature."
This does not mean you become a little god. What it does mean is, as a child of God, you have an inner resource to draw upon. That, my friend, can change the direction of your life now and forever!
Turn around so you can get on with the life God has given you. Once you turn your back on the things that ruined your life, you have His terrific promises so you can participate in the life of God.
Everything that goes into a life that pleases God has been miraculously given to you. Your new life will always be dependent upon your faith in His faithfulness. To live this good life in God means you will always need to claim His promises.
Enjoy and explore the good life. Release divine resources by a closer walk with Jesus. Stay close so you can listen to the Holy Spirit.
Fully live: Exercise faith in the promises of God. Your life today can be more Christ-glorifying than it was yesterday. Allow the divine nature within to reveal godliness.
Prayer: Father, it is all here, within me. Increase my faith to claim Your promises I have received. I want to live a better quality of life today and everyday. Let how I live cause God to be glorified. In Jesus' Name
