"For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord,and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." II Corinthians 4: 5,6
Your life filled with light when you saw God in the face of Christ. People might miss the brightness, but you know within you is Christ's light. He is the excellent power that keeps you shining, no matter how hard darkness presses against you.
This is what God's word promises. When hard pressed, you won't cave in. When you don't have the answers, you won't doubt. When terrified by the enemy, you know you're not alone, Even when evil strikes you down, you rise strong to stand. When everyone wonders how you do it, you will know Jesus did it in you. His Presence is the light you carry wherever He sends you. The main thing, is not how you do it, but how Jesus lives within.
Declare in Faith It is not about you, it is all about Him, His strength, His power to stand.
Prayer: Dear Lord: Anyone in the dark needs to see the light. The Light that shines through me is probably the best picture people around me will have of Jesus. Holy Spirit, may they see Jesus through me. Amen.
